We had our last Sunday at Bridgeman Downs Baptist Church today and celebrated the dedication of one of our dearest friends Lucy, followed by BJ's 4th birthday party. The kids had a wonderful time eating cake, riding trikes and jumping on the jumping castle.
We continued celebrating BJ's birthday on Monday at Little Tigrrs indoor play centre. The kids used up any energy they had left bouncing on the jumping castle, playing in the ball pit and sliding down the big slide!
The boys and I walked back to Nissen who had our car in for a service while we played happily at Little Tigrrs - hoping that the car would in fact be ready by 12. Unfortunately the car wasn't ready when they called me at 11.50am and they told me another half hour to an hour. We were almost at the dealership so we decided to wait in the waiting room. Harry managed to have a sleep in the pram and I must congratulate Thomas and Zach for being such troopers! If there is a moment when as a mother you can be proud of your children - this was one of those moments! We ended up waiting in the reception of the service department for 2 long hours! Although my children were not the model of 'Growing Kids God's Way' - they did manage to amuse themselves for 2 hours without any tantrums! I must admit I was hoping that all three children would scream and cry all at the same time so that they would hurry up with my car! Needless to say, by the time we got home we were all exhausted!
