The Dummy Fairy has visited again and Zachy is now a BIG BOY with no dummy! We attempted to give the dummy away a few months ago however, Zachy was too sad to give it up and I'm too much of a softy to take it away!
On Wednesday night I said to Zachy,
"We have to start thinking about giving the dummy to the Dummy Fairy very soon".
"Tonight?" says Zachy.
"No, it doesn't have to be tonight"
"Here you go" he says as he hands me the dummy.
"Are you sure you want to give it to the Dummy Fairy tonight?"
"Yes"
So, there went the dummy. Zachy was very excited to wake and find a bag of snakes and smarties hanging from the ceiling fan!
The following day sleep was not very long and we've had a bit of trouble falling asleep since we've parted with the dummy, however, Zachy hasn't mentioned the "D" word and is quite happy about being a "BIG BOY" now!

Way to go Zach!! I reckon my kids would have loved the dummy fairy, she sounds so much nicer than the BIN MAN!!
That's great Zach! I wish you boys were here to show Amelie how liberating it is to go dummy-less! ;-)
